Totally exceeded expectations. Unassuming, humble facade; like an oasis, you open the doors & inside awaits an impressive jewel-toned, dreamy dining room. Spacious & perfectly decorated. If the hostess asks, opt for a window table if dining with up to 4. Otherwise, you get sat in an awkwardly placed middle row of 2-tops or a communal table. The menu was easy to navigate with some nice deals & an intriguing cocktail flight. Try it! There’s something for every taste. Good portions & good service, too. Everything delicious. I randomly chose this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday looking for something different in an area that is a sea of chains. I chose wisely, she loved the experience. She jokingly said she would’ve liked a belly dancer & to her surprise, one appeared & put on a great show. Would definitely recommend especially for special occasions.

We had a wonderful experience at La Vie! My friends and I went for lunch and tried a variety of dishes — kebbeh, hommus, falafel, spinach pie, and the grills. Everything was delicious and tasted authentically prepared. The lady who served us was amazing — warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. She really made the experience even better. The seating area is nice and spacious, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a meal. We also learned that they’ll have a belly dance night in a few days, which sounds like a fun addition to the atmosphere.

If you are a sensorial person, you will love the experience of dining here! From the moment you walk in the door the atmosphere greets you with visually stunning surroundings. You feel like you are worlds away from Florida. The music playing is authentic to the experience as well and is lovely. Our server was excellent. There for every need. I have some food allergies and she consulted with the chef for me to make sure all the ingredients were acceptable. The drink menu was fun. I had "In Love With La Vie" looked and smelled beautiful (floral). Tasted delicious. My husband had "Old Timer" smooth and silky with a touch of cardamom, dee-lish! We shared fattoush for a salad that tasted like it was just picked from the garden and the olive oil is like nothing from the grocery store. The pita bread, light and airy with a crispy outer layer. For main course I had Lamb Tagine, tender and spiced with middle eastern flavors that didn't disappoint. Aromatic and delicious. My husband had lamb chops, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. For desert I had scrumptious Baklava and my husband had Viva La Diva, luscious and chocolaty! So if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or to impress a date or just to treat yourself to a cultural and epicurian sensorial delight, this is the place to go!

Great Lebanese cuisine and a memorable Valentine’s experience. We booked a 6pm reservation and were so glad we managed to get one at the last minute. We went for the Valentine’s Day candlelight dinner special — $75 per person for a four-course menu — and it was absolutely worth it. The food was exceptional from start to finish, full of rich flavors and beautifully presented. We were also able to catch the belly dance performance (offered between 7–9pm), which was fantastic and truly made the evening feel extra special. A wonderful spot for a romantic night out with great food and atmosphere.

La Vie is now my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in SoFlo. The food is incredible, however the service and ambiance is the real X factor. The location is pristine with stained glass chandeliers, aesthetic dishware, and well mannered/dressed staff. The staff know what they're doing.. ASK FOR THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS! (Or take mine, the Farrouj Meshwi). Go to date spot moving forward. Also belly dancing which is a plus.

The restaurant is nicely decorated in a Mediterranean theme. Inside had Low lighting making it very romantic for our date night. They had a free belly dancer show (Tip accordingly). Our waiter Phillip was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. He was knowledgeable about the menu recommendations but not pushy. The food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. My wife and I will be returning.
